To prepare for the workshop, please bring along your computer with Photoshop installed. If you do not have Photoshop installed you can download Photoshop trial from Adobe’s website.

The AIESEC Singapore Annual General Meeting 0708 was held at the Business School of NUS on 2nd August 2008. This marks the end of the 1st year since AIESEC SMU became a full status LC. AIESEC SMU achieved tremendous results in terms of exchange and facilitated the highest number of exchanges among all 3 LCs.

At the end of the meeting, outstanding individuals were recognized for their involvement and contibtion to their LCs and AIESEC in Singapore. Here are the esteemed winners of this year’s awards:

Congratulations to winners from SMU, as well as the other award-winners! We look forward to a very eventful year ahead!

The AIESEC International Congress (IC) is the biggest & most important event for AIESEC globally. This year, IC 2008 was held in Sao Paulo, Brazil from 21st Sept 2008 to 30th Sept 2008. (www.ic2008.org.br)

More than 700 students and recent graduates from more than 100 countries had the opportunity to share ideas and discuss the most relevant topics that impact the world. IC also involved AIESEC’s International Partners & Supporters, which includes PricewaterhouseCoopers, Microsoft, Cadbury Schweppes, DHL and UBS. The event also ran concurrently with the largest Global Alumni Congress where over a 1000 members, alumni and partners celebrated AIESEC’s 60th Anniversary.

10 delegates from Singapore attended IC 2008, 4 of whom (Laura, Esviyola, Cheryl, Tian) were from SMU. The delegates to IC are listed below and we strongly encourage you to ask them about their experience during our national conference, Jumpstart 2008, held on 13th and 14th September 2008!
